ADMISSIONS
Russian-American International School is unique in many ways, but particularly in the diversity of cultural backgrounds, talents, life experiences, and personalities of the students. Admission to Russian-American International School is selective and competitive. Our learning environment is bilingual, multicultural and international. Students from Russian and American public and private schools may be admitted to the Russian-American International School.
Our admission policies are non-discriminatory. We welcome students without regard to gender, race, religion, or national origin. The application process is critical to ensuring that Russian-American International School continues to enroll students who will be well-served by the academic program and who will be happy and productive in the school environment.
In addition to the general academic qualifications, there are certain grade-level language requirements for entry into theRussian-American International School. The Russian Language is not a requirement for entry at kindergarten level [children of 4-6 years old] and the 1st grade [6-7 year olds]. All non-Russian speaking students will be proficient in Russian by the end of the 1st grade. Children whose mother tongue is Russian are admitted to the school at any grade level.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Following a preliminary visit to Russian-American International School, an appointment for a student evaluation will be scheduled. Notification of the evaluation result will be mailed to prospective students within a week.
Once the applicant is accepted by the Russian-American International School, an application package will be sent to the family. All papers and supporting documents must be completed and returned along with a reservation deposit and fees as stated in the Tuition Contract.
