SUMMER CAMP June 13th - August 12th, 2011
Russian-American International School offers an exciting summer program for children age 5 through 9. Each week we have a unique theme to spark your child’s imagination and learning. We include field trips, arts and crafts, music and lots of other activities. You can pick from any week during the summer and have your child join the fun. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun summer program. A program that maintains your child’s learning skills while allowing them an opportunity to laugh and enjoy friendships. We are open from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. During the summer the outdoors and the world around us becomes our classroom. In this special program your child will enjoy the many activities that present themselves during the summer. When not enjoying field trips or other group activities, the children are free to choose activities which meet their own individual needs, interests and abilities, then to work at those activities at their own pace. We believe children possess a natural love of learning and that learning can be fun. Your child’s naturally inquisitive mind will aid in opening new doors for discovery. Children are guided in exploring the world for themselves, developing the power to think for themselves and to meet new situations with gained ability and understanding. We want to challenge your child to think creatively about themselves, the environment, our culture and world. Some of the activities your child may choose from include: - Field trips - Arts - Crafts - Science Experiments - Outdoor Fun - Cultural and Nature Adventures - Reading and Creative Writing - Music - Russian, English, Math and many more… We look forward to the opportunity to work with your child--and you!
